Former Minister Mohamed Hussein Iid has extended his congratulations to the newly elected President of Galmudug State, H.E. Liibaan Ahmed Hassan, and Vice President H.E. Abdiweli Ibrahim Garyare, following their election in Dhusamareb, the administrative capital of Galmudug.

In his congratulatory message, Former Minister Iid commended the confidence placed in the new leadership by the Galmudug State House of Representatives and expressed his best wishes for their success in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to them.

He expressed hope that the new administration would advance peace, political stability, reconciliation, social cohesion, and sustainable development, while strengthening public institutions and cooperation among Somalia’s federal and state administrations.
